With all of the day’s activities, there will be something for everyone. We want to have a great time while raising awareness about breast cancer and the importance of early detection. For those who are survivors and for those who have lost their battle with this disease, we join together to celebrate, honor and remember.

This year’s Ride for the Cure will feature a unique exhibit of the Button Chair inside the ERI Breast Imaging Center. This will be the first time the Button Chair has been in Pitt County, so we are excited to have this exhibit available.
The Button Chair was created in 1998 by a North Carolina college student as a tribute to all women who have battled breast cancer. Each button formerly belonged to a survivor of breast cancer or someone who lost their battle with the disease and represents their story of courage and strength. The display features several kiosks which are both educational and interactive.
